Art therapy means something different to everyone.

There are parts of us that words can’t always reach—spaces between language—and that’s where it begins.

You don’t need the right words.

You don’t need to explain everything.

Creative Arts Therapy blends the creative process with psychological insight. It is not about perfection or expectations. It’s about expressing what lives inside of you in ways that feel authentic.

Creative Arts Therapy can help you process, express, explore, and reflect on emotions, thoughts, experiences, and identity, as well as build coping tools and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been silenced or hidden.

Creative Arts Therapy is not linear, and there is no one path or destination. There is only the path you choose, and I’ll be here to guide you where you want to go.

Whether you’re here to find an outlet, to heal, be in the here-and-now, to create, or just to feel a little less alone—you get to define what the art of therapy means to you.

I’m Lena, an art therapist who holds space for the parts of you that don’t always get heard.

Here, you’re invited to show up exactly as you are.

With over 10 years of experience in youth development and 6 years of clinical work in community-based programs, schools, and crisis settings, I’ve worked extensively with youth, families, college and graduate students, educators, and clinical teams. I also have 3 years of experience supervising and training therapists, with a strong foundation in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.

I believe therapy is a collaboration—between your story and your intuition, between the parts you know and the parts you’re still discovering. My work is grounded in kindness, curiosity, creativity, attunement, and deep respect for who you are and where you come from.

I specialize in working with individuals whose identities don’t fit into neat boxes. You may navigate multiple truths, balance cultural expectations, explore your roots and identity, or feel the friction between your inner world and the roles you’re expected to play. As someone who is multilingual and multicultural, I approach therapy through an intersectional lens, recognizing how race, culture, language, neurology, systems, and social context shape your sense of self. I strive to create a space where your full self is acknowledged and your unique journey is respected.

I offer client-centered, comprehensive care where your voice, autonomy, and lived wisdom guide the work. Each session is tailored to your goals, preferences, and creative instincts. I integrate your specific interests—

because what lights you up leads you home.

You’re invited to create, explore, reflect, and be curious about your inner world and how it connects to your place in the world. Through art, conversation, and self-inquiry, we work together to help you access your wisdom and voice, free of judgment and fully supported on your path to self-actualization.

do you prefer to engage in therapy?

White Brick Wall

Psychotherapy involves talking through your thoughts and feelings to gain insight, develop coping skills, and improve emotional well-being in a supportive, confidential space.

Creative Arts Therapy involves creative outlets to express and gain insight, offering a non-verbal way to gain insight, develop coping skills, and improve emotional well-being in a supportive, confidential space.

What’s Your Money Move? 💸

I offer both in-network and private pay. Select the option that best fits your needs.

I offer pricing that is individualized varying depending on coverage. If you plan to use insurance (CIGNA|CARELEON), I work with Headway, a secure platform that manages billing, scheduling, and benefits verification for clients using such plans. Headway will handle all insurance billing on your behalf, and there’s no cost to you beyond what your plan covers (co-pays, deductibles, etc.).

I offer fixed private pay pricing with an option for sliding scale, where fees are adjusted based on your financial circumstances — so therapy can remain accessible and affordable.

For private pay clients, I’ll personally onboard you into my therapy platform. Contact me via email directly and you’ll receive a secure link to complete intake and payment setup after we connect by email.

Private Pay Options

For clients choosing to pay out of pocket, I offer transparent and flexible private pay options. I aspire to make therapy as affordable and accessible as possible, while honoring the value of consistent, quality care. Whether you're using standard private pay or sliding scale, I’m committed to working with you to find the support that fits your needs and budget.

If you're not using insurance, I offer standard private pay (out-of-pocket) therapy at a fixed-rate. This option provides flexibility, privacy, and straightforward billing. It's ideal for clients who prefer to pay out of pocket. After connecting with me via email, you’ll be personally onboarded into my secure therapy platform where you can easily schedule and manage your sessions.

I offer therapy at a sliding-scale for those who may need more affordable therapy considering their current circumstances. I’m a proud member of Open Path Collective, a nonprofit organization that helps make therapy more affordable and accessible. If you qualify, you can pay a one-time $65 lifetime membership fee to Open Path, which gives you access to reduced-rate sessions (sliding scale). It’s a great option if you’re paying out of pocket and need financial flexibility. Contact me via email to continue with Open Path or if you are already registered.
